About
The Full Story
I’m Laurie Bryant, and my work centers on helping caregivers and women in demanding seasons find steadier ground when life feels heavy. My mission is to offer practical tools, perspective, and hope to those who spend so much of their lives caring for others.

My connection to caregiving began early, and I’ve been a caregiver for much of my life. I’ve seen the effects that caregiving has on families firsthand—not only within my own family, but through my own experiences as well. Many people find themselves in the caregiver role unexpectedly. Some plan for it, but most do not. Responsibilities pile up quickly, and it’s easy to become overwhelmed, uncertain where to start, and to lose sight of yourself in the process. That lived experience shaped both my heart and my purpose.

Professionally, I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling and am a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC), and Certified Life & Self-Care Coach. My work blends professional knowledge with personal experience, rooted in faith and the belief that small, intentional steps can lead to real healing over time.

For several years, I’ve worked within a statewide program dedicated to improving early dementia diagnosis and connecting families to ongoing care and support. In that role, I’ve collaborated with clinics, community partners, and aging service networks to strengthen education, outreach, and caregiver resources across Georgia.

Before that, I served with the Area Agency on Aging, where I supervised multiple programs supporting older adults and vulnerable populations. That experience deepened my understanding of how community systems, caregiving demands, and real-life barriers often collide—and how practical, compassionate guidance can make a meaningful difference.

Throughout my career, I’ve been dedicated to:
• Providing diagnosis education and care planning support for families navigating memory loss
• Educating and coaching caregivers on communication, stress management, and realistic self-care
• Developing educational programs for professionals working with individuals with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) or dementia and their care partners
• Advocating for brain health and dementia awareness through outreach and training across Georgia

LBCognitive Creations & Coaching, LLC grew from these experiences—a space built on professional insight, lived experience, and faith-informed encouragement. It’s where I share practical tools and reminders that even when life feels hard, you’re not alone and forward movement is still possible.

Here you’ll find journals, printable self-care checklists, and compassionate resources designed to make life a little lighter and to remind you that you’re not alone in this journey. In the future, I’ll also be offering one-on-one and group coaching for those who want deeper guidance and personalized support.

If you’ve found your way here, you probably give a lot of yourself to others. I’m here to remind you that you deserve care, too—and that change, even in the hardest seasons, is possible.
